Section Of Betts Rd To CLOSE For One Week – Plan Ahead
GREENBRIER TENNESSEE: (Smokey Barn News) – Beginning June 1, 2016, and continuing for approximately one week, Betts Road (S.R. 257) will be closed to traffic from Dorris Road to Hygeia Road.

The closure is necessary due to work being performed on a natural gas pipeline that will require excavation of both lanes of Betts Road. Motorist are asked to avoid this area if at all possible.
Traffic will be detoured down Hygeia Road and Dorris Road to U.S. 41 during this period.
The police department will have an officer on-site 24 hours a day and only those residing in the closed area will be allowed to travel this section of road during the closure.
The contractor has assured us that they will complete the work as quickly as possible.
